The Spirit Seam

The Spirit Seam is a short animated film about a little girl, Pollywog, and her Pap-Paw. Located in an Appalachian coal-mining town in the 1950s, the film takes the audience through the daily life of both characters. The Spirit Seam combines a mixture of animation mediums; 3D modeling, 2D animation, and physical sets created with 3D printing, embroidery, felted yarn, and sculptural techniques.

Join us at the Black Sheep Pub for 2018 Sunrise 45 Film Festival Awards Ceremony & Wrap Party, where we celebrate the convergence of diverse talent and creativity at this year's Sunrise 45 Film Festival -- including the filmmakers, musicians, and volunteers that made this year a success!
